Research on Design and Operation Method of Dewater and Filled System for Cushion Pool of High Dams ——Taking the project of BHT hydropower plant in China as an example

Dam is set in large hydropower station. Cushion pool built behind the dam for flood discharge and energy dissipation of reservoir. Operation some time, dewatering structure safety which study, then cushion filled. Temporary dewater filled system used by previous engineer, but arranged controlled hard. Based on need filling, an example Baihetan station, necessity feasibility are study. Then a permanent filling designed pool. Design principle arrange method described. Many technical difficulties study resolved such as effect valley deformation control demand device parameter, performance quota formulate based water level amplitude, protective measures working condition much silt downstream humidity equipment room second-dam project drainage outlet under water. By gravity difference pump drainage, electric saved personnel operating environment conditions improved.
